Airport security . . . .

Guarding airports is similar to guarding anything else -- well guarded areas are harder targets to hit than others. As security systems get erected in one place, the other places are put under increasing pressure to install them, as well, since burglars (or terrorists) will concentrate on the easiest targets. Why do you think we had explosions in two low-security embassies in Africa? Only because other embassies were better guarded.

So . . . when O'Hare comes on line, and others follow, we will see every airport have reason to install biometric security. Everywhere in the world that terrorists can hit American targets, or smuggle contraband, or anything else. I have estimated the US market of major airports as being worth $50 million. But what about international possibilities?
