Maybe we should raid Wimbledon Bridge House on the day of the annual
meeting, September 11. Sort of like a Normandy operation with forces
from the farflung corners of the world a la Commandos: Behind Enemy
Lines. We can break in and point a Schermuly Riot gun at Cornwall's
head and grill him for the past write offs and the cushy bonuses that
were doled out. Nope, they're not going to get anymore from me either.

A Schermuly by the way is a 38 mm shotgun that supports a mechanism
to hurl large tear gas grenades. It's manufactured in Salisbury and
Wiltshire, England. I'm not sure yet if I will attend the meeting though.
Until then we can hurl some of these barbs at the finance department
and CEO Cornwall himself. We are constructive; We have their phone
numbers. Someone has to tell Mr. Cornwall and Co. in dour tones that
we don't want more Naked Records; We don't want dressed ones either.
We don't want record revenues either. We just want record earnings.

THQI is currently trading at $28 with a model based mostly on
outsourcing...that could be EIDOS, you know, if we can convince
Cornwall to fall in love with record earnings rather than bloody
revenues if truth be told.

Once we get through FYQ1 Commandos will spread like the plague. At
this point I am not so much concerned if we get a loss of -51 cents
(the Goldman estimate) or -33 cents (the First Call mean). Earnings
were so lousy a year ago Q1 (loss of -60 cents) that trailing P/E
should drop further even with a mega loss. Once Commandos hits the
shelves and we enter September, the focus should shift to Christmas
and Tomb Raider III. In the meantime, why not fire the marketing
mavens at Brainerd Communicators and save a few dollars from the
lumbering A team. If Brainerd (212) 986-6667 was a publically traded
company we could have sold it short.

Here is the most recent short interest data on EIDOS. Non-existent: viwes.com

P.S.Has the WW II movie, Saving Private Ryan, been released in Europe?
