Jack, you have missed one point in your dicussion. First of all I am new to this thread; however, i am playing with option for last three years. The point i want to make is that options are not that bad. They have a place in your portfolio. The important thing is that your need to do this thing consistantly with many stock. You may loose in some and gain in some. If you are clever and do options on stock consistantly, you will come out ahead. You cannot just look at one stock and derive all of your conclusions thereof. One need to look at the perticular method and be deciplined to apply over and over again with some consistancy.
