kevin but I'm talking about the next few weeks not just today. also, regarding the extent to which an earnings shortfall is factored into the price, what i'm saying is if they preannounce BELOW what most people expect then you can't believe the price will NOT go down. there are people holding this stock who expect 40-50 cents for the year, they might be right but if the company says no way then some of them will sell. I just can't understand holding a long position in a stock in a downtrend. I'm flat so don't care either way. But for me the only choices are flat or short on this one at the moment.
