It is obvious you are not employed in the investment arena. Whether you agree with me or not, to cast the other points in the invalid light is a bit of a stretch. Viable companies are valued by equity investors on the assumption that they are ongoing entities. Debt investors make the assumption that a company is only as good as its liquidation value.

<As long as people consider Microsoft stock to be like money, then faith in Microsoft will keep the stock price at a certain level irregardless of internal value.>

Why don't you educate me in your method of determing value and please define "internal value".
