Do you use any software to screen for stocks meeting the criteria for the Gap Strategy or Delayed Gap Strategy? Also, does anyone have an idea on how many stocks per day meet this kind of criteria?

Two comments. First, traders fail because they don't follow the rules they themselves created and allow impulse to overcome methodology.


I would add that IF several traders were using the same strategy on the same stocks, the FIRST trader that hits the trade will benefit from the subsequent buying from the slower traders. => It would appear to be an ideal trading system for automation (i.e. clearly defined, speed important). Have you ever considered automating this system, or variations of it?
