Some Good Things about Trimble Excellent products. Diversified in several markets. Right that high end applications generate larger revenues, at least so far. Good gross margins. Was right about price competition in the hand-held market. Was right in not trying to make a car navigation unit for consumer market. Rockwell tried and failed. Improved strategy in timing solutions. Competitors like Datum and Speare suffering. Leads in agriculture market. Has done OK in spite of decline in AVL market last quarter. See other companies for example, Coded Communications, Highway Master, AMSC. Trimble's revenue in a particular market segment has either remained essentially flat or risen over the years. Trimble's revenue has only declined one year. Any more??
