Your tech support might want to take a look at the 1) The SCSI card 2) The bios settings for the ports that it may be set on 3) Are you sure someone didn't accidentally plug the SCSI connector into the Parallel port? They are the same dimensions and have same # of pins.

I've met too many frustrated Windows users who buy a SCSI device and are baffled as to why it doesn't work. They simply do not understand they have to buy an extra card. "But I already have the port right here!"
