Report from the ship Short-DELL on Captain Redbeard's voyage to Bear Island Contrary to exaggerated rumours the ship did not go down in the hurricane force winds as we rounded Cape Bull. Our navigational charts proved surprisingly accurate for that part of the voyage (though the Cape was a bit longer than expected). Now the wind is subsiding to gale force - is this the eye of the hurricane or are we out of it? Reports from the ship Long-DELL suggest that it's the eye - maybe our weather data is scrambled in some way under these conditions. During the night (Australian time) several of our treasure chests fell over board. Luckily they have high tech flotation devices built in and we have spotted one washed up on the beach in the bay a few miles down from the Cape. Captain Redbeard
