Oh right, Ollie North hero and all that. The man who absconded with thousands of dollars of illegal arms money so he could build himself a $20,000 security system and then wrapped himself in the flag. What your argument implies is that is that if Ollie was taking the fall for the "government," he was taking the fall for all the other weasely Republicans who were LYING and MISLEADING about their role in an illegal scheme. That's Ronald Reagan, Cap Weinberger, and George Bush, each of whom had faulty memories on key meetings and discussion (the equivalent of "I did not inhale"). And, of course, the whole lovefest for Ollie North completely contradicts the professiion of fidelity to the Rule of Law. North broke the law, admitted it, and went scot free.
