Komrade Bill - Re: " Brands lose when commoditisation sets in. "

Is Soda Pop a commodity?

Does Coca Cola make Soda Pop?

How much has Coca Cola suffered recently?

I think Warren Buffett has made a fair profit on investing in this commodity over the past 10 or 12 years.

Ditto the insurance business (GEICO) and commodities and Buffett.

Ditto the razor and deodorant markets (Gillette) and commodities and Buffett.

Perhaps you should provide some of your deep commodity wisdom to Warren Buffett - he seems to be terribly misguided.
