I haven't done detailed study and most of the things you would already know. I have mixed feelings about this stock and MDI-P. The following article tells something effectiveness of ozone against HIV and other viruses pages.prodigy.com pages.prodigy.com I was surprised to find that ozone can destroy HIV virus. This article raises two issues. One is that Medical Discoveries is not the only company doing research in this field. It looks like that Medizone , a BB stock, has been around for a longer time than Medical Discoveries Inc.has similar appeals. Secondly these methods are under testing and it is yet to prove if they would be viable to use on the human body. The second issue doesn't matter though for a lot of applications. Chlorine is well-known as a disinfectant. pages.prodigy.com Now I am sort of confused. I am not sure how many companies are doing research on the same theme of using ozone for disinfectant purposes. We just know two which are traded as BB stocks. I don't think that all the big bio-tech would be unaware of this and probably would be doing their own research on this. There is a lot of information about medizone and ozone on the thread Subject 3810. Also it looks like these researches are time-consuming and may probably take few years before anything hits the market. So the stock may be good for long-term gain but not for a short-term play. In fact if I were to buy this I would buy it once and forget about the money for couple of years. The competition in this field is very unclear. There are tons of companies doing research on related topics(especially HIV) though their approach to the problem would be different. There is a hope that MDI-P would be successful but I would not forget that there are bigger players and a long way for the research, if at all, to become commercially viable. Take a look at Medizone and tell me if their research doesn't look similar to MDI pages.prodigy.com I read the thread on Medizone and it looks like that the company was hot once and then people got tired of waiting and sold out. It is also very possible that ozone related disinfectants may never be used for blood sterilization because of the toxic nature of ozone. Another thing that scared me about Medizone was their total no. of outstanding shares which is around 130 million.
