soc and cs shouldn't really be compared......here are a few very fundamental reasons why its comparing apples and oranges( or in this case lemons and crab apples) 1) cs is a technology company in an industry expected to grow at an annualized 30% over the next several years.....soc is in a mature industry that has single digit growth rates. Cs is the fourth largest in the industry....Soc is much smaller in their industry. Soc is in default on some loans and chapter 11 is a very real possibility in the next quarter...at best major stock dilution from bondholders......while cs has its problems, no one is seriously considering bankruptcy filings in the forseeable future. lastly, there are major lawsuits from all angles against soc for fraud, nothing of the sort with cs........What examples of comparable companies can you give us that are trading below book value....I would be curious, because I am not aware of any that would be comparable.....thanks
