Fond as I am of sticking my neck out from time to time, I've been looking back at some of the posts that you have put out and I have noticed a few things.

Of course, the first is that you are not what you say you are. (I'll leave it to others to determine where the differences are.) Fine. You're not alone. It's a virtue / curse of the Internet.

The second is that you know a lot about this business. Our guess is that you may even be a geologist or you may have some related technical background, although there are indications your background is in petroleum rather than hard rock. Regardless, it seems that you are not just a "nay-sayer" without a clue. Therefore, and for whatever it's worth, your technical opinions should not be automatically dismissed.

Where I have a problem though, is in the tone; in the hint or conviction that everyone else is either less competent or simply dishonest. I don't understand what this adds to a discussion group of this nature. Surely it's more appropriate for a T-group or a smaller circle of friends?

As I have said before, Elizabeth, you may well be right about the limits of our project in Santa Cruz. We don't think so -- for good technical reasons -- but we don't KNOW WITH COMPLETE CERTAINTY that you are wrong. That's what we are drilling to find out. That's why we are focusing so much of our effort there. It's also why we are not making the same sort of definitive statements which you are making.

I hope that you continue to contribute and to educate us but also, that you don't turn everyone off with your anger / frustration / impatience.
