LoD... I'm so aggravated I could scream! Just got my Sept issue of Worth. Flipped to section on Stocks to Avoid / Stocks to Consider p44. Can't believe it... They have DELL as a stock to avoid along with CPQ and TXN and AMZN (among others). Get this: ---------Fair Value & Why stock will Underperform: Compaq--15 - Combination of falling PC prices and Digital acquisition makes earnings turnaround unlikely anytime soon (agreed!) DELL----40 - Has lost its pricing advantage over indirect PC vendors like HP and IBM... Shares now at lofty 55 times earnings I want to shake someone.... what idiots!! Laura
