John,

This is a frustrating time, but don't be too hard on the analysts. It is in the best interest of Kurlak's employer (along with employers of other analysts) to increase the volume of transactions. It should come as no surprise that they often change ratings on short-term factors.
They will be there on the side of us longs to raise their ratings when they perceive the turn to be near. The fact is that Tommy K. and others raised ratings on the basis of the same reasoning so eloquently expounded by Shane, Jock et al on this thread. These analysts, in spite of better information resources than we have, were sandbagged by the same market factors that many of us were. If they reflect the
deteriorating short-term fundamentals with reduced ratings who is to say that isn't their job? Or that we have to go along with them?
There is considerable risk on the road to increased wealth--please count me in the die-hard long camp as I see the potential to dollar-average for several more months into LSI before I begin to see any reward.
