Humble thanks. It's one of those stories where there's difficulty distinguishing between good and bad. On the good, I've learned bunches o' stuff. The bad: it's obvious I don't get out much—well, ever if truth be told.
Humble suggestion, if I may: Your browser preferences (where you enable Java) has two options, one for Java and one for JavaScript. If, like me, you surf with Java 'off', you should still keep JavaScript enabled. They are two entirely different things. You'll miss a lot of interesting web content without it, and JavaScript isn't saddled with the problems that some people have with the former.
Granted, because of the similarity between names, many people confuse the two. Please be assured, however, that unless somebody has a gun to your head, telling you to turn off JavaScript, you should leave it 'enabled'.
