akmike,

Looks like that descending triangle was very telling after all....

Now that I have the advantage of hindsight, I might have questioned more that the stock was weak and stalling within a somewhat stronger SOX, but I let what I thought were stable short term fundamentals cloud my view. I still think the long term is probably good for LSI, but it might take time for the stock to recover from this. That would depend on how well management handles the stock going forward.
DavidG is right. Wilf should get on CNBC from time to time, for the benefit of the shareholders and potential investors, tell them in simple terms all about LSI.........even if the industry is in a slump, there are exciting things going on at LSI, and there's a future, right???????

My 2 cents regarding W.C.: I don't question his ability to direct the company. Isn't he the presiding chairman of the World Semiconductor Association? If so, I imagine that he should know better than most what is happening in the industry, and that he knows what he's doing with LSI, and with the acquisition of Symbios.

We all know that he's heavily in the stock at 23, and we haven't seen him selling.........<shudder>

FWIW, I haven't decided yet if I'll stay in now, or take a loss and get back in later.
