KG Telecom Selects Lightbridge's FraudBuster to
Proactively Combat Fraud
New Taiwanese GSM Operator Minimizes Fraud Risk
BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 19, 1998--Lightbridge, Inc., (NASDAQ:LTBG - news), a leading
provider of customer acquisition and retention solutions for the global telecommunications industry, today announced KG
Telecom will implement its FraudBuster(R) Technology to combat the threat of fraud. KG Telecom, who launched GSM 1800
last December in the high-growth Taiwanese mobile telecommunications market, plans to use FraudBuster to address
potentially fraudulent activity before it has a chance to negatively impact the business.
KG Telecom also believes that FraudBuster will enhance the company's competitive position. According to Mr. Jerry Chu,

the efficiency of the fraud management specialists.
