If you looked at specific delivery vector to HeLa cells, that could be considered to have completed preclin.

That would depend on the application. I would think if CYGS were trying to "cure" cancer, they'd have to test using a line of cancer cells, such as melanoma. I'm still trying to figure out why the press release mentioned U-251. That's a new one on me. I suspect it must have something to do with Conrad's experience with brain tumors.

As for the IND, I was under the impression that CYGS wasn't going to fund any of this-- that their technology would so rock the medical world that biotech firms would beat a path to their door waving wads of cash. These other companies would also then get and fund the IRB approvals and IND permits from the FDA, create all sorts of wonderful products that people would spend gazillions on, and give the royalties to CYGS. Are you saying this has not yet happened?
