Good morning, I hope you understood that I didn't direct my
comments to you personally last night since by reading your posts
in the past, I knew your political views are similar to mine..
Even before the Monica incident, I couldn't believe the hatred
directed toward the Clinton administration..on the internet, talk
shows etc.. I don't condone the lying on the sex issue but the
determination of the radical right to FIND something to bring
him down, IMO, FORCED Clinton to lie to the puritanical American
society on his weakness... If it wouldn't have been this, it would
have been something else..
When George Bush was president, people of my political persuasion
didn't constantly spew hatred toward him.. It seems to me that
the radical right has a more of a tendency to do that.. It just
fans the flames for the nut cases.
As for Clinton resigning, I don't care either way too much..
because actually we would get Al Gore and he is fine in my book,,
a decent guy.. But the the RR would come out about campaign
financing and other red herrings.. What the hell difference does
it make if you call the fat cats from the White House or you
step ACROSS the street.. The REPUBLICANS and all but a few of the DEMOCRATS do not want REAL campaign finance reform.. That SOFT
money thing is a disgrace.
