The minimum price for ARIA is $10,000 and can range up over $100,000, depending on the size and complexity of the installation.

While that might seem like a lot of money, it's not an unreasonable investment for the managers of large Web sites, which can cost as much as $10 million per year.

The big unknown is how many companies are willing to pay such sums to refine their interactions with Web visitors.

"The real question for Andromedia is we don't know if the market is huge or if it's an extremely narrow niche market," said Aberdeen Group analyst Stevens.


Well... I guess that Andromedia's 130% revenue growth from 98Q1 to 98Q2 properly answers Mr Stevens' worries...
Now the $100,000 question is how ODIS' license stream fits into the ARIA business model: I hope it's not a flat fee agreement!
