Wall St. is a very Machiavellian place -- things that happen can be what they seem and also what they do not seem. If a short wanted to cover a large position without running the price up, the short might short a bunch more in quick trades -- as happened this morning -- to cause long panic at a vulnerable time in a stock -- as we are in now waiting for HU-211 news. Professionals have been waiting in the wings to buy this stock for a while, and some people are spending big bucks today to buy all the shares being offered. H-m-m-m. Interesting way to cover a short before news is announced. And, if this is what's happening, there will be no meaningful built up short position to be squeezed come October. We go, in that case, up near-term strictly on the results of Phase II.
