Ed: I believe it has been tried already. FASC I know did process some volcanics and found that the stuff was just too hard on the chains. They had to be changed every 6 hours or so. Now GPGI ore is not that hard, but it might present a similar problem. Testing is not that easy as you would have to shut down, clean everything, process a significant amount of ore, and then clean everything afterward. I would rather see GPGI test one of the vibramills that MAXAM is using.
They could get a loaner, I understand.
