I believe Intel support will hold at the 129-130 range this week,
since no major economic announcements. If tech stocks get spooked
(e.g. preannounement of bad earnings by someone) we might go down to 125. Fundamentals just way too good to stay very long at these levels.
Expect $145-$150 around earnings announcement.

What I thought was interesting were 2 subtle, yet very positive
announcements, regarding Intel's 1997 performance. I'm referring
to IBM abandoning NT 4.0 for their PowerPC and DEC Alpha's
massive price cuts. The message is very clear. The trend is
movement towards Windows NT 4.0 for corporate networking and the hardware platform of choice is Intel Pentium/PPros. This alone will take the stock into the 200s by end of '97.

regards,
joey
