I was struggling with how to word that and there it is in a simple turn of phrase. I don't think there has often, if ever, been emphasis given in the training of any armed forces, and maybe not in the corporate or other worlds either, that there is a point where one acts according to honor rather than loyalty if the two conflict. For instance in the corporate world there was the man that blew the whistle on.. Archer-Daniel, I think it was, that was looked on by so many as a traitor and a tattle-tale rather than an honorable man.

As to what honor is.. hmm.. stumped at the moment. But to the previous, depending on what is asked it is sometimes right to choose loyalty over honor. This is a very tough thing, as then you lose your honor, even though you did what you thought was honorable. That would be in something far below the likes of killing innocents, and such.
