Wait-I'm way behind having stopped to play with Rambi. You're confusing my heroes-no-you're confusing me. Why do I think the doughboy is not a hero? What does blotting out a machine gun enplacement mean? Did he sacrifice his life to save others? What does mythology have to do with it? I don't think I limited heroism to any particular type of action--except to say that a heroic quest involves morality. Maybe it's that damn semantics stuff again!
