Sharise,

The Tom, Dick and Harry you are referring to happen to be the largest players on the internet. It isn't a function of current membership. The street doesn't care about the past - they are looking for FUTURE exponential growth with attributable revenues. If membership were to stay constant - GCTY will never make money, because as every GCTY investor should know it hasn't since it began.

I don't believe the big players of the internet confirmed that what GCTY has been doing all this time was right....right now community is the "killer app." A few months ago, it was "portals." True, GCTY's was a pioneer for community sites. But lets not remember what one major player in the computer industry (ahem, Microsoft) does when it seems new technologies - Reverse engineer it, tweak it, and then slap our name on it and use our massive distribution channels. Works like a charm for Bill and Co., and I think the likes of Yahoo, Excite, AOL etc. have the distribution and capitol to make it happen.

As for Hotmail and Juno (should be HotSpam and JunoSpam), that won't foster any community. Most homesteaders that actually take the time to build a site and nuture it will obtain a xxx.com address.

BTW, not long or short this stock - just observing from the sidelines for now.

S.
