You will want to place GLMC on the NASD OTC:BB on your watch. I know that with the amount of exposure GLMC has, the anticipated volume should generate tons of excitement.
By the way, I can confirm that $2.7 million in sales which was referred to by MONTE.
A brief history for you. I have worked for Global for three yrs. With strong management and a drive to succeed, Global Media initially marketed "entertainment" through "direct to home satellite systems." (DTH like Direct TV, Echostar,etc.). Through both direct (telemarketing) and Internet sales this project was very successful. With the recent changes to CRTC regulations (same as FCC in the U.S.) management decided to move corporate focus to markets with both higher margins and opportunity for long-term international growth.
After extensive research, and the obvious success of E-commerce, (Amazon.com,Cd-now,etc...) management feels the direction to head is "Internet Distribution of Entertainment Products". Management is taking their extensive marketing and entertainment distribution knowledge to a Global Scale via the Internet. The products we plan to market will be CD's, Films, Movies, Concert Tickets, T-shirts and Magazine Subscriptions. We feel that by having a variety of entertainment products available we will attract wider audiences. Keeping prices under $25 should help to produce significant revenues. You now how quickly all your small bills seem to add up, same idea with this.
One other point that makes sense is the download from Internet straight to your home. Just imagine....No More Late Charges to Blockbuster!! I for one have paid this numerous times. How about you?
Picture this as well.. "being able to sample music on our site, choose whether to order that cd (by hardcopy like now or download and burn on your own CD). Go another step further, how about paying $1-2 per song and build your own "Best of 98" CD one song at a time.
