Amen, brother! As I said before, This "team sports" approach to politics whereby we staunchly defend "our team" against "their team" does us no good. It doesn't matter which party goofed, it's a goof. I am sick and tired of these political hacks assuming we don't see through them. If Newt's phone was tapped, it's wrong. If Packwood and Clinton use women, they are wrong. If a Kennedy kills or rapes someone, it's wrong. Until we think enough of ourselves to think clearly and honestly, until we quit thinking politics is a game, until we demand that our judicial system quit playing word games, until we demand impartial news, we are all putting ourselves in a position to be exploited.
