Tom... 1) As you well know, I did not call you names on the thread. 2) The CONTENT of your posts is not the issue, and you are correct to point out that many posts on this thread are not always IDX related. I am probably more guilty than most in that regard. What is at issue is your BEHAVIOR. I made that clear to Jill. Your "intrusion" was just that: an intrusion whose only purpose, by your own admission, was to "grub" posts. It is that, not the content of the various messages, to which I object. And, yes, it's adolescent and silly. 3) I don't give a hoot about what # the post is. 4) You addressed me via private e-mail to which I responded privately. That's where it would have stayed had you not chosen otherwise. Now I post the entire sequence here so that each can judge for him/herself. And by the way, it's Thursday. Not my day to do challenges. And for the record, this is the last conversation I intend to have on this subject either publicly or privately. Jean

My intention is not to get you kicked off SI, though I wouldn't mind seeing you shut off
for awhile. (A copy of my note to Jill is attached FYI). Problem is that what you do isn't
at all funny; it's adolescent, silly and annoying. So maybe you'll stop and others won't get

Note to Jill: Please see post 9999-10004 on the IDX thread. If you check out
the modus operandi of these two clowns, you'll see that their main roles
are to invade threads for the mindless thrill of "grubbing" posts. Is
this considered a legitimate SI activity? Does it contribute to voicing
opinions on anything relevant to the threads they invade? If you
consider the behavior to be out of line, maybe you could shut them up (or off) for awhile. Give their brains a chance to catch up to their hormones and all that. Thanks.

I have posted in the IDX thread with my views on this. I also included a real live TA
read on IDX so that I wouldn't be off topic.
I have put a challenge in to you and J. Saf that you should think about. It may tell you
something about yourself if you are unwilling to accept. Personally, I think you should
rescind your note to Jill, since I found several content free post by you in that thread.
And I am not:
A clown
an idiot
an incoherent idiot
an incoherent adolescent
Nor an adolescent at all
However, I can be frivolous. Which I consider a better trait than being vindictive or
someone that uses personal attacks to resolve issues or going to the webmistress to
resolve all of their issues.
And, yes, I do know that not all of those traits apply to you. But, c'mon this is only a
glorified chat room, how can it get you so po'd that you would want to punish
someone?
