Susan,
Nice to see you again, welcome to the VLSI trading forum. The chips are down, that's for sure, I'm in NSM again, drifted up and went down with warning on old news, also bought in LSI late yesterday, has drifted down somewhat. My gamble is the chips are oversold. My other major play is FINL, can't believe it ran up to 30 and crashed to 10 again.
Looks like you have to take profits in this market and then get back in otherwise the ups and downs do you no good. Other than trading the pops, I'm in the chips for this cycle long-term, it's like trading the SOX index. We know that they will come back, it's the when, as soon as six months the threads maybe singing happy songs. Doom and gloom and tears of weaping in the LSI threads converted me to buy, like: "I bought at 25 and now it's 16, oh me oh my." I know the feeling, but like to be a newbee in such stock situations.
