<< First, we have to listen to a disingenuous Bozo >>

Just to help lighten things up here - from the June 30, 1998 Wine Spectator:

<<In a more whimsical move, BV has released a new red wine called Beauzeaux (pronounced "Bozo"), a play on the winery's French heritage and the famous American television clown. The wine, from the 1996 vintage, is part of BV's Signet Collection series. "We as an industry have taken ourselves too seriously over the years. We wanted to lighten things up with Beauzeaux," said BV winemaker Joel Aiken.

Beauzeaux is a fruity blend of 39 percent Zinfandel, 26 percent Charbono, 19 percent Grenache and small amounts of Petite Sirah, Valdigui‚ and Carignane. Only 600 cases of the wine were made, which will sell for $16 per bottle. --Thomas Garrett and Kim Marcus >>
