Bipin, samsung has indicated they will do whatever they have to to bring stability...it is of no use losing money on their product...They along with the Japaneese realize that SELF REGULATION is needed to bring prices up... and that is very healthy for all participants.... Self regulation will cause prices to escalate and these cos shall all be making money....I bet that after the earnings are released there will be comments to adress this .. I bet that some sort of pact is just in the offing....this will cause the stocks to jump 20-30 per cent on that news.... a concerted effort of the foreign powerhouses to raise prices so all can make money....the downside will be layoffs and the mkts like that.
