I thought I'd put in my 2 cents....I'm been trading stocks for 15 years and I used to do a lot of penny stocks back in the 80's ... all the people who think this is some kind of conspiracy by the market makers are nuts... I know 2 traders personally at MASH and HILL (also have a very good friend at a small house who makes markets for me). These guys don't short stocks like they used to!!!! they are under a lot more scrutiny by the regs and they also never know when some tout sheet will make this their pick of the month.... so by in large they like to remain flat and trade from their positions!!! I know it's hard for a lot of you people to believe but if they're on the offer than they are SELLING for somebody and NOT SHORTING STOCK!!! I know because I talk to these guys all the time... These ideas on this thread about MM's are just plain Bulls**t!!!!! MAF
