All, OT?? Fleckenstein's mission statement... excerpt My real job is managing a private investment partnership, a.k.a., a hedge fund. The fund is short only and is up almost 100 percent in the last 3 1/2 years while the market is up over 150 percent. This is not a solicitation. I bring it up to illustrate that many things have gone wrong in the last few years, resulting in significant stock market losses even though the averages continue to go straight up. I have been short technology--mostly semiconductor, semiconductor capital equipment and personal computer-related businesses. I believe technology stocks are at the epicenter of the present stock market mania and tend to focus on them quite frequently in the Rap. stocksite.com I think it is good to read it in Bill's own words. Whether you like him matters not. He does have an influence. GM
