Clintonistas have been saying about him will turn out to be true.


Don't forget the number of indictments and convictions that came out long before the focus turned to Lewinsky. Starr and his office have uncovered and prosecuted a whale of a lot of illegal activity. And keep in mind that a lot of his costs have gone into overcoming stonewalling and deliberate and cynical delay by the WH designed purely for political advantage. For major prosecutions, Starr's cost-per-conviction record is actually pretty good. Compare his GJ with O.J. case, Boulder, Colorado (I forget the girl's name) investigation, even Watergate, which didn't get that many convictions -- Starr's has been a fairly efficient investigation.
