As far as ADIC, and after reading your comments I am getting a bit nervous! What you stated is true, however I can not believe ADIC would go after EMASS without taking into account the drawbacks. It is absolutely crazy to buy EMASS given the points you mentioned in your post. So I dont know what to think anymore. I am down about 50% in ADIC.

This year has definitely not been very good as far as investment is concerned (for me anyway). And I am not just talking about ADIC. It seems everything I have bought within the past 4 months is down by not 10%, or 20% or 30%, but by 50% or more!! Most are small cap issues (such as ADIC), but even my established stocks such as LSI, HWP, etc. have also gone down big time.

I really am now very concerned with ADIC. Why on earth Van Oppen would go after EMASS and paying that much cash for it. And what really has happened to their sales. This was a great little company till this past quarter. And what is the deal with DELL really?

I doubt I can take anymore losses as I am already down about 50% on ADIC! Should I just sell and use it as a write off for the gains I had earlier in the year. But it seems at this time I have so many stocks that are down by an average of 40-50% that I have a difficult time to pick which ones I want to sell for tax write offs!!! Ideally I want to take the ones with the least chance of a turn around. Would ADIC be one of them?! I hope not. I hate saying good bye to so much money at once!
