David: From my perspective, your summary of the Pharmos strategy fits it like a T. It can be summarized as "Living by your Wits" which is what almost all companies do in their earlier years. Yet at some point, managements have to go beyond that and, since I like to noodge management about 12 - 18 months ahead of time, I felt it was a good time to raise this issue. In essence, it is difficult to build a sound organization with the strategy you described. What are the core competences you build? And I think you'll find that analysts in this field will need to have a better defined strategy to really get behind the company. The above applies if one is investing for a 10+ bagger as I try to do. The price can certainly go up nicely without a better strategic focus but I doubt it can get to where I'm hoping it will in it's absence. Have a good and safe trip, Arnie
