Thanks LOD. Rolling a position always sounded to me like you received some kind of discount on the new month for having held the prior month, but your explanation about rolling the capital forward clears it up for me. BTW, I am sitting on a pile of cash overnight after closing my Aug100 Calls. Shoulda got the Sep115 ($5 time value premium versus $7 premium for the 120 - why d'you think? Supply and demand?) today but will get tomorrow. Also will look at LEAPS
