For the record, the comments I have asked Andrew for explanation on are in the first paragraph of this post:

Andrew and I both agree that UTEK IR is very forthcoming with info. The problem I have is that I have been on the phone twice this week with Laura Roubeche. She tells me the Ubeam at PLAB was installed according to plan is working better than expected and will be turned over completely (to PLAB for production)on 8/31/98, which was what the original contract stipulated. IR tells me there is no "bad news coming down the pike" and that if anything they have been conservative
in the success of Ubeam.

If someone as sophisticated, astute and knowledgeable as AV is going to comment specifically on the success or failure of products that he understands, then he should be forthcoming enough to substantiate those comments. UTEK and AV do not agree and I am trying to find the truth. So far AV has not given us substantial support to his "bad news" about Ubeam. Already he has responded as a gentlemen to my request, as expected, but there is still nothing that I am aware of to give substance to his original comments.

I'm really not sure what the link you supplied has to do with my request of AV. It was interesting--no fascinating, but my conclusion is that every post must stand or fall on its own. Are you asking me to read every post on SI by every poster on the UTEK thread before I can ask them to substantiate negative and/or postive generalizations?
