Jon, XML is certainly better than HTML and is designed for generic tagged data delivery. Additionally, it requires conforming syntax whereas HTML is often used carelessly because browsers have learned to be oh so forgiving. And Datek's HTML is none too clean. In high performance cases, API's with efficient data formats can be even better. You can bet Streamer doesn't spew HTML.
