A semi-technical question, so this may be a tough one: All browsers I know of have a "secure mode," which often kicks in when a user is transferring their credit card number, for example.

Since Netscape Navigator (my browser) doesn't use JAWS, should I conclude that: a.) My secure mode is really not all that safe and JAWS would help; or b.) JAWS encryption is something entirely different than a browser secure mode; or c.) Something else.

Thanks for any response--I'm trying to understand the encryption market just a little better and why people will want to buy JAWS. If they are unknowledgeable like me and say, "Why do I need encryption software? My browser already has a secure mode" then what is the answer to that?
