here a synopsis of the meeting from Yahoo thread. Thanks to Impatient Gambler. Didn't have a notepad, but this is what I can recall: Answers to various questions: >Potential growth for ADPT core business? Windows NT 5..0 server applications. ADPT will focus on SCSI and RAID in this potentially high growth area. >Where is ADPT Fiber Channel arena? Won't see real growth in this area in about two years. ADPT intend to be a major player when the time comes. >How come QLOGIC has substantial growth in SCSI business while ADPT's revenue is stagnant? This proves that SCSI is still a profitable market. ADPT just lost its focus. Boucher wants to refocus ADPT in this area. >How active will Adler be? About one week in a month. >Will Boucher {pronounce boo-shey, excuse my weakness in French, just found out today) be active in ADPT business activity until a new CEO is found? Yes. Very active. No info on new CEO yet. >Meet earning expectations for this quater and next quater? No comment. My own personal opinion: I went to see who is running this company, and I came out feeling positive about Boucher and Adler. Did not know Adler still has a pony tail hair. One stockholder asked him why he should be elected to the board. He gave a brief rundown on his qualifications. I like the guy. Boucher seemed poised and anwered questions directly, not running around. One stockholder would like to see ADPT management to give better guidance to the street, and Boucher agreed. Basically info revealed in this meeting is not new. Nothing a surpise. Don't expect any postive/negative price reaction to this meeting. There maybe other important points that I miss, but that's all I can think of right now. Good luck to all of us longs!
