There was a (short-lived) research project back in the thirties in Soviet Union dealing with pregnancies. Fact is, that nine-month-out-of-production per person was just way too much. So they tried to reengineer it to a month times nine women. Fact: 80 years of divergent history (straight or twisted is immaterial) cant be done away by inviting Boris to come and have a drink with the other guys. The loans were just the cash he need to wait comfortably for the next batch of loans.
