OT

I did not trade yesterday. But I think the market shall slide another hundred SPX points by mid-September so I actually may try a position trade if I can get my price.

Re-building a torn rotator cuff helped my game. Shaking off the cobwebs and a poor first nine I threw a 37 at the back...poor putting on 10 and 14 were my only bad holes and I snaked long birdie puts on 16 and 17.....1 over par.

Ripping that new KB I bought....it's 49 inches long. After a miserable early start I dropped 7 strokes off my handicap in a month and a few more rounds like this and I'll be a lot lower.

Which is good and bad. The big social tournament of the year is a Member-Guest in September and my perennial partner is my brother. Jack is an 8 and plays courses like Butler, Pine Valley, The AT&T Pro-Am, and so on. He is a fierce competitor and I do not wish to let him down with poor play.

So it's good that I'm playing well but bad my handicap is dropping like a rock. It would be fugly if I'm carrying a 12, say, but playing to a 20.

I tried out a new ball Titleist sent to me for an opinion. It has a real nice feel. A new model, it touts extra spin. Come in an "Electric" light blue sleeve. If you see it give it a try. I notice the feel primarily on the green but it's very soft on the iron play and tee shots.
