BKS would fall because it is not the best time to announce a strong buy when the market is down 165 points. I've been tracking the results of 'strong buy' announcements on very down days and have yet to see a stock make appreciable gains on such a day. What happens (and this is not a scientific research ) is that when things stabilize more and the market turns these 'strong buys' will be the first to move. I think the traders buying are looking for bargains.

Those holding September puts, might want to watch carefully and consider taking profits in 1/2 of their postions. Since I mentioned holding the market has gone from down 120 to down 167, it looks like the freefall is continuing.

by the way, never make the mistake of buying too many puts thinking you will make a mint. I've only bought 10 puts and feel more secure with them and able to make a rational decision. If they turned around overnight I would lose an amount that is in line with my risk tolerance.
