It is likely that Yak met with TX.

NO offense to the Big Apple, but the reason that there are so many country homes outside New York is that entire families used to pick up and leave the city in the month of August. Before air conditioning, it was not a pleasant time to be in the city. Even today, you need a reason to go to New York in August. My guess is that the TX-RNTK paperwork is finally working it's way UP the chain at Texaco. It is likely that the lower level TX negotiators, gas & refinery guys, and lawyers were the ones dealing with Yak and RNTK. Now, the paperwork is in the hands of a corporate VP (or higher) in White Plains, and before they would agree to ink the deal, they wanted to meet Yak in person. This was just a protocol visit by Yak to shake hands and seal the deal. I expect to see the announcement released before Labor Day.
