Don't expect a boost in the Can dollar until commodity prices start heading up and/or the Asian economies start picking up. Canada was a parking place for people who now need the money and it's to some extent a commodity sensitive economy. The best we can hope for is that the Central Bank can keep the decline slow and orderly and that it doesn't go much lower. A stronger Canadian dollar seems out of the question near term.
