The last sale by Par was in Dec. 1997 (unless he's done some very recently). In July he bought a million $ worth of stock which is now worth about a third of that. He must have had some reason to be optimistic at that time. Some may theorize that the purchase was part of some conspiracy and he sold stock thru a third party at the same time but I think it is more likely that he is buying just far enough ahead of some news to avoid charges. I wouldn't suggest buying ahead of the news however since Management has so little credibility with investors that any goods news will be greeted very sceptically and there will be ample opportunity to buy. I don't intend to buy more myself since I don't like to speculate based on good short term prospects if I don't have faith in the long term survival of the company. If I'm right, I may get a chance to dump this stock within the next year. I don't intend to be a long term holder given my lack of faith in the management.
